A brand full of personality and a designer with just as much.
Alexia Vanden Berghe took the decision in 2017 to make reality out of her passion by creating her own brand of high-end handbags:
Besides being certified in communication and digital marketing, she also took part in a Luxury Management course at the Modesign Academy in Brussels and a Bag Design course at the London College of Fashion. This way she had enough knowledge about how to pursue her new challenge, creating a very own handbag brand.
Today KONG presents a design full of personality that lies on a balance between extremes. In style, as in the chosen materials and colours, KONG reflects a combination of never ending classicism and subtle modern originality.
The first design is made of firm Italian leather that creates a perfect harmony with the inside of the bag, which is made out of soft suede. This contrast in materials gives extra elegance at the bag.
You can also recognize the pattern of the KONG identity in the colours. At sides of the black leather foundation, there are bright red borders to maintain a dynamic. It gives a timeless rock-chic look.
