Serving plates by Anita Le Grelle

Serving plates by Anita Le Grelle

Unique in its color and shape, each piece of ceramic is born from the precise and delicate hand of the Belgian ceramist Anita Le Grelle.

Elegantly thin materials and subtle shapes leave just enough space for the piece's own freedom... and dreams.

The collection is made of stoneware and finished with reactive glaze. It is baked twice, first at 700 °, then allowed to cool and then it is baked again at 1200 °. It is quite unique that this kind of stoneware, so thin and light, can still meet this quality.

This collection is a complete set of plates, bowls, cups and serving plates. You can order the serving plates here, you can find the other items at the bottom of this page under Related Products.

The serving plates are available in 3 sizes: small, medium and Xlarge. The small and medium size exist in 5 colours, the Xlarge is available in 3 colours.

Dishwasher safe.

Anita Le Grelle was born in Antwerp, Belgium, where she obtained a degree in graphic design and restyled numerous labels for consumer goods.

She moved to London where she raised her children, when the desire to create with her hands led her to follow the full British curriculum to become a sculptor. She graduated from Royal College of Art, London, in year 2000. On many occasions, in London and Belgium, Anita has been showing her work full of inspired fantasy and supported by impeccable technical skills.

She moves back to Brussels in 2002 and settles in a house with a large studio where she carried on her work as a sculptor and exhibited in many various galleries. In 2013 she discovers pottery. With her remarkably intense energy she immediately explores numerous alleys of this passion.
